Vehicle Description

2017 Mini Cooper Convertible – Fun, Fresh, and Full of Character

Meet the 2017 Mini Cooper Convertible, the perfect blend of iconic British style, turbocharged efficiency, and open air freedom. With its clever convertible top and peppy 3 cylinder engine, this Mini proves you do not need a big engine to have a big smile behind the wheel.

Efficient Yet Entertaining Engine

Under the hood is a 1.5 liter TwinPower Turbo inline 3 cylinder engine, producing 134 horsepower and 162 lb ft of torque available from just 1,250 rpm. That means strong, responsive acceleration right off the line, perfect for city driving, highway merging, or weekend coastal cruises. Paired with a smooth 6 speed manual or available automatic, the Convertible delivers an engaging, go kart like drive that Mini is famous for.

Convertible Top With a Sunroof Mode

One of the standout features of this Mini is its power soft top that does more than just fold down. In addition to fully retracting in about 18 seconds (even at speeds up to 18 mph), the roof can slide back just the front section to create a large panoramic sunroof without lowering the entire top. This unique party trick lets you enjoy fresh air and sunlight while keeping the rear cabin protected from wind or weather, a feature rarely found in this class.

Trim Highlights

This Cooper Convertible comes well equipped right out of the box:

15 or 16 inch alloy wheels with run flat tires

Power soft top with sunroof mode and rear window defroster

LED daytime running lights and halogen headlights

6.5 inch central display with Mini Connected infotainment

Bluetooth, USB audio interface, and steering wheel mounted controls

Air conditioning, power windows, and remote keyless entry

Dynamic Stability Control, multiple airbags, and MINI’s signature agile handling

Why This Mini Stands Out

This 2017 Mini Cooper Convertible combines efficient turbo power, iconic styling, and one of the most versatile convertible tops on the market. It is the ideal choice for drivers who want open air fun without sacrificing everyday practicality or fuel economy.

Ready to make every drive an adventure? This Convertible delivers the full Mini experience, with the top down, half open, or fully up, all in a compact, stylish package.
